（中央社記者李淑華台北21日電）國民黨總統參選人洪秀柱今天說，她很高興與星雲大師見面，讓她感受到他的慈悲；希望與大家分享這種慈悲的智慧，共同打造「真誠理性」的社會。
洪秀柱晚間在臉書說，「今天與星雲大師見了面，很高興，他對我的期許，讓我深受感動」。
她說，在台北道場看到超過3000名的信徒，他們是聆聽「星雲智慧」而來，大師給人歡喜的邀請她一起出席，「讓我感受到他的慈悲」。大師的慈悲讓她看到台灣的希望。也就是這兩股力量，讓人間佛教的「佛光普照三千界、法水長流五大洲」。
洪秀柱說，她常常在想，慈悲所憑藉的基礎是甚麼？應該是「真、善、美」吧！如果再細想，這三個當中哪個是基礎？沒有真就不會有善，沒有善的人不會美。而這個「真」必須以「理」為依托。真與理是一體的兩面，這不也正是所有宗教的價值信仰的基礎嗎？
她也常常在想，政治人物如果沒有慈悲，那還能有甚麼？甚麼是政治人物最大的慈悲，在她看來，就是讓社會不要偏離真與理。政治人物不可以用虛假面對人民，不可以用非理性煽動人民的情緒。
